HEY, IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU!

i'm bonnie jean, the somehow completely chaotic yet tethered older sister you didn't know you were missing in your life. i'm named after one of my grandmothers; most people just call me bonnie, but the special few call me bonnie jean.

storytelling is my life. i picked up my first camera a little more than 30 years ago and haven't stopped taking photos ever since. the combination of being the lead yearbook photographer in high school and studying both graphic design and journalism during undergrad led to a unique marriage of being an artist and photojournalist... a historian, if you will.

you'll rarely see me with the same hairstyle for long, and the number of tattoos decorating my skin increases pretty regularly. my partner and i love to travel, discover new cocktail bars, and spend time with his dog, tupac sha-corgi. (yes, you can meet the dog. can i meet yours?)

over the years, i've been so fortunate to have my friends become my clients and my clients become my friends. being a photographer means i get the best view of every special moment in their lives. i wouldn't have it any other way.
